Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the Logistics industry. As an Accounting Manager, you will be instrumental in improving our current practices and policies, supervising a team of accounting professionals, and assisting with financial audit activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coach, and manage a team of accounting professionals to achieve operational objectives.

• Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

• Assist with the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Contribute to the quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and ensure the month end close process is completed.

• Assess current accounting practices and policies, making recommendations for improvements.

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize skills in General Accounting and Month End Close processes to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with month end close and general accounting.
