Robert Half Data Analyst in Woodbridge, New Jersey
Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a certified Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Some responsibilities of the Data Analyst include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Your responsibilities
Identify changes in financial and business trends by monitoring data
Regularly examine data reports to identify and resolve mistakes throughout
Develop business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
Help other departments reach their goals by providing analysis
Monitor databases for updates and maintain accuracy
Generate business reports that provide insight into key data points
Convey the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
Collect and analyze data for various types of business reports Requirements - Strong critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
Familiarity with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
Detail oriented with a tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
Skilled in written and verbal communication to effectively relate data to coworkers
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
Analytical skills that can develop data-driven reports
Experience creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
