Description Robert Half is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users in a growing company. To be successful in this Help Desk Analyst role, you should be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary role.
Provide service on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
Provide IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems
Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues Requirements - Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
Basic networking concepts
Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Desktop Support experience
Well-founded grasp of Password Reset
Password Reset experience
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows
Proficiency in Active Directory
Microsoft Windows 10 experience preferred
Quality experience with Technical Support
General familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs
Practical knowledge of Provide Technical Support
Proven knowledge of Password Changes
