Description If you love human resources and you're looking for an exciting, new opportunity, Robert Half has an excellent PART TIME opportunity as a Human Resources Specialist. This role will involve performing a wide variety of HR duties, including assisting with sourcing new talent, posting open requisitions, recruiting, new permanent orientation, updates to the employee handbook, and employee relations.
Key responsibilities
Develop and provide orientation and onboarding to new employees
Manage and interview candidates
Oversee the hiring process including screening applicants' resumes, performing candidate background checks, and job postings
Oversee benefits and open enrollment programs
Maintain employment records for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
Update internal policies and procedures under the general guidance of the HR leadership team Requirements - Prior knowledge or experience in HR or recruiting
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills are a must
Skills in office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms
Understanding of federal, state, and local laws
Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Should possess working knowledge of HR functions and procedures, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and managing employee relations
May require a bachelor's degree in HR or a detail oriented certification in human resources, business management, or a related field
