Description We are looking for an IT Auditor Consultant to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our IT governance, risk management, and compliance processes. Your duties will involve conducting audits, assessing IT controls, and providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with client teams to understand their business objectives and IT environment
• Develop tailored audit plans and methodologies based on client needs and industry standards
• Identify and evaluate IT risks and vulnerabilities impacting operations
• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls in mitigating identified risks
• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls
• Perform testing and analysis of IT controls, focusing on areas such as access management, data protection, and cybersecurity
• Utilize industry-leading tools and methodologies to gather evidence and identify findings
• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in concise reports
• Present audit results to stakeholders, highlighting key issues and proposed remediation actions
• Provide strategic advice and guidance on improving IT governance and security posture. Requirements • Proven experience in the field of IT Audit
• Comprehensive knowledge of Audit - Information Systems
• Ability to accurately report and present Audit Findings
• Experience in preparing and maintaining Audit Workpapers
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in using various IT audit and office software
• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and principles
