Description
Robert Half is looking for a Production Manager that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production and delivery of various Creative Services projects. This role requires effective communication with internal teams at SOA HQ, external vendors, and clients to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time.
Client Relations:
Act as a liaison between our client and external vendors in the print industry to execute Creative Services requests.
Maintain open and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively identify any production or delivery conflicts and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to find solutions.
Provide high-level customer service and address client needs effectively.
Procedures:
Oversee the planning, production, and delivery of Creative Services projects, which can range from stationery to complex materials.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure printing, fulfillment, installation, and delivery are carried out successfully.
Identify opportunities for process efficiency and recommend optimizations to internal stakeholders.
Manage project prioritization and the intake process for creative requests, ensuring all necessary information is gathered.
Coordinate planning and review meetings as needed.
Quality check project files before business owner review and printing.
Project Management:
Manage the entire project lifecycle, from understanding project requirements to delivering the final product.
Maintain a comprehensive project status tracker and provide regular status reports to key stakeholders.
Communicate daily with Designers to manage workloads and ensure timely delivery.
Keep detailed records of project assets and related documents in a digital asset management system.
Maintain detailed invoice trackers for vendor transactions and report spending regularly.
This role requires a combination of project management skills, print industry knowledge, effective communication, and attention to detail. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that Creative Services projects are successfully executed, meeting client expectations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in roles related to print, binding, and customer service/support.
Prior agency or printing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of materials, equipment, and processes in color printing, binding, duplicating, and finishing.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Must be flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and exhibit a problem-solving attitude.
Physical capability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
