Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities. This includes processing purchase orders, tracking and reconciling freight expenses, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage purchase orders.
Track and reconcile freight expenses.
Verify and enter invoices into the accounting system.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Experience with accounts payable (AP)
