Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Woodland Park, New Jersey

Description

Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Specialist to assist a growing non-profit organization in Woodland Park, New Jersey on a long-term contract basis. The role involves the comprehensive management of accounting processes within the organization, with a focus on account reconciliation and data migration.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial documentation

• Facilitate the transfer of information from old software systems to new ones, ensuring data integrity

• Provide guidance and support to the team on the use and navigation of the accounting software

• Oversee the reconciliation of transferred information to verify data accuracy

• Utilize accounting programs and tools such as Sage Intacct, Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP in daily operations

• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records and monitor customer accounts for any necessary action.

Requirements

• Prior experience managing post-implementation processes

• Proven experience in operational and financial accounting

• Strong proficiency in using Sage Intacct software

• Demonstrable expertise in Account Reconciliations

• Knowledge of Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions

• Experience with Data Migration processes

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with the Healthcare/NHS industry is a plus

• Compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards

• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
