Description
Enterprise Client Solution Engineers might be interested in this permanent, direct hire job with Robert Half's client based out of Worcester, Massachusetts! This Solution Engineer position needs to be a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's enterprise computer management system(s). This position is an escalation point for the most challenging computer support issues. Experience in the higher-ed, healthcare, finance, insurance, medical research, government industries is extremely beneficial to the success of the person in this role.
5 years minimum supporting Apple Devices and MacOS is required along with a high level of white glove customer service.

Every day you'll get to:
Examine application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and coordinate with developers to apply fixes
Safeguard security, redundancy strategies, and back up
Test, configure, install, and maintain application software, system management tools, and operating systems
Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Offer 2nd and 3rd level support
Take part in the design of information and operational support systems
While multi-platform dexterity is a requirement, the ideal candidate for this role will be Apple Certified with advanced experience in a macOS/iPadOS/iOS administrator role.
Requirements - This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has experience with automation software
3+ years of relevant experience - This position will be the best fit for a candidate with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has solid scripting skills
It is preferred for applicants to have experience with monitoring systems
This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has experience with virtualization and containerization
Candidates who have solid networking knowledge will be the best fit for this position
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems
Microsoft Office 365 experience highly desired
Well-founded grasp of Image Deployment
Apple OS experience desired
Proficiency in Linux System Administration
Windows OS experience required
Proven knowledge of Computer Imaging
