Robert Half Probate Attorney in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Northborough, Massachusetts. This role is crucial in providing drafting and document review assistance, working closely with a paralegal on various probate & elder law matters. This role involves interacting directly with clients to gather information and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Providing drafting assistance on various probate & elder law matters

• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of legal documents

• Collaborating with paralegals to ensure efficient case management

• Interacting directly with clients to gather information necessary for cases

• Applying skills in Civil Litigation, Probate Law, Probate Litigation, Elder Law, and Document Review to effectively fulfill job functions

• Assisting in the resolution of probate and elder law matters

• Ensuring all legal activities adhere to local and national laws and regulations

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on probate and elder law matters

• Collaborating with other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal support

• Ensuring client confidentiality is maintained at all times. Requirements • Possession of a valid and active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment

• Proven expertise in Civil Litigation, Probate Law, Probate Litigation, Elder Law, and Document Review

• Minimum of five years of experience practicing as an attorney

• Strong ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Proficiency in using legal research platforms and databases

• Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Proven track record of representing clients in court proceedings

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary software

• Ability to interact professionally with clients and build strong relationships

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
