Handles all customer service activity.
Assures that pricing follows the established policy
After acceptance of order, processes customer orders through order entry system and delivery system:
Checks stock availability and allocates product in computer; advises customer as necessary.
Tracks orders through system, monitoring availability and/or manufacturing release dates, etc.
Upon notification that items are ready for shipment, designates method of shipment according to customer preference or "best way" considering service and cost.
Prepares invoice documentation for export or special customers (as required).
Forwards completed documentation to shipping and receiving for processing of shipment.
Follows up with shipping agent or broker to assure proper handling, and notifies customer as needed.
Acts as a liaison between customers, company personnel, and agents in handling questions and problems dealing with deliveries, specifications, etc. Represents the company's best interest while balancing customer needs.
Communicates on a timely basis with appropriate department managers, on potential problem areas resulting from special order requirements concerning such items as late delivery penalties, product liability exposures, new material specifications, credit risks, etc.

Two to three years experience in customer service dealing with disposable medical products (preferred);. Experience and knowledge of, order entry, export requirements, shipping and delivery (domestic) is needed. Ability to assess product performance and customer satisfaction over the telephone as well as deal directly with customer complaints and problems are key attributes. Additional sales experience especially in telemarketing is desirable.
