Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our team located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, United States. The position is a long-term contract role in the financial industry. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for processing customer payments and maintaining accurate records. Further, you will also be tasked with handling customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer payments through cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

• Updating customer receivables by managing unpaid invoices.

• Maintaining accurate customer records, including invoices, debits, and credits.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and record maintenance.

• Handling customer inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Monitoring customer accounts for discrepancies and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Collaborating with other team members to achieve overall financial objectives.

• Providing support to other financial operations as required.

• Performing other duties as assigned to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for financial data management

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong organizational skills to manage financial documents

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports

• Clear communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve any discrepancies or issues

• Familiarity with financial software and systems

• Demonstrable understanding of basic accounting principles

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
