We are looking for a Controller to join our team in York, Pennsylvania, United States. This position is involved in the manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, implementing accounting controls, and analyzing cash flow. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity that requires skills in GAAP Accounting and Manufacturing Cost Accounting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and the use of various accounting systems including Microsoft Excel, Sage Intacct, and MRP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365. A deep understanding of handling both US and Corporate GAAP is essential. This role also includes leading all aspects of accounting and finance functions while providing guidance and partnership towards meeting company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Implementing and maintaining accounting controls to safeguard company assets.

• Conducting detailed cash flow analysis to provide insights on financial health.

• Adhering to GAAP Accounting principles in all accounting practices.

• Handling manufacturing cost accounting processes, providing accurate data for decision making.

• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of the accounting close process.

• Managing tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Participating in budgeting and forecasting activities, supporting strategic planning.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.

• Act as a key liaison between the US entity and the global finance team, facilitating smooth communication and reporting.

  Requirements

Skills/Qualifications of Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• 5+years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven ability to handle both US and Corporate GAAP.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage Intacct.

• Expertise in MRP systems, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
