Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our manufacturing team in York, PA. The HR Assistant will support daily HR operations and assist in maintaining a positive employee experience within our dynamic manufacturing environment!
Responsibilities:
Assist with job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Process employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations) and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Stay updated on federal, state, and local labor laws and ensure compliance.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures as directed.
Requirements
Previous experience in HR or administrative roles preferred.
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to production areas.
Occasional need for flexibility in work hours to support business needs.
