Description We are offering a contract for a Procurement Administrator role in YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, United States. This role is crucial for our operational efficiency, requiring the successful candidate to manage contractual agreements to ensure they meet legal requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all contracts, agreements, and tenders from inception to completion.
• Establish and enforce guidelines and procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with our policies.
• Confirm all contracts adhere to legal and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct contract negotiation, administration, and customer contact activities.
• Offer guidance on contract matters to project managers and other operational staff.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure reliable sources of supply and information.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to guarantee contracts are executed accurately and promptly.
• Work with legal teams to address any emerging contract disputes or legal issues.
• Manage procurement processes and vendor relationships. Requirements • Proven experience in a procurement role, with demonstrated understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
• Proficient in contract management, including drafting, interpreting, and executing various types of contracts.
• Familiarity with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations and processes.
• Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate terms, manage relationships, and evaluate vendor performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze procurement data and make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of ethical sourcing and sustainable procurement practices.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
