Robert Half Quality Assurance Specialist in Youngstown, Ohio

Description We are offering a role for a Quality Assurance Specialist who will play a vital role in our steel manufacturing operations based in Youngstown, Ohio. The selected candidate will be responsible for tracking procedure revisions, maintaining vendor records, generating software, and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of ISO systems and documentation. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Track procedure revisions meticulously to ensure the quality standards are met.

• Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Generate software and create as well as edit queries in line with the company's standards and procedures.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO systems and documentation to adhere to the industry's quality standards.

• Use advanced MS Word and Excel skills to perform administrative tasks effectively.

• Provide clerical support to the Quality Systems department, contributing to the smooth running of operations.

• Manage project deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

• Use basic office skills to perform daily administrative tasks.

• Perform data entry tasks and filing duties, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and organized. Requirements • Proficiency in Basic Office Skills is required

• Demonstrated ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Experience in Filing and managing office documents

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite is essential

• Previous experience providing Administrative Assistance is preferred

• Ability to Provide Clerical Support to various departments

• Proven track record of meeting Project Deadlines

• Experience in the Steel Manufacturing industry is a plus

• Quality Assurance experience is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Must be detail-oriented and organized

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• A strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies is required

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions is essential

• Professionalism and a strong work ethic are required

• Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools is a plus

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills

• Must be committed to providing excellent customer service at all times.
