Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Zeeland, Michigan

Description We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry, located in Zeeland, Michigan. This position is an Inventory Clerk role, which plays a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy of our inventory records through regular cycle counting activities. This role suits a detail-oriented individual capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular cycle counts of inventory items following established schedules and procedures.

• Verifying the accuracy of physical inventory counts by comparing them to the inventory system records.

• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

• Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

• Maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting all inventory transactions and adjustments.

• Monitoring inventory levels of critical items and reporting any shortages or overages to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle Fusion HCM to manage and track inventory.

• Performing data entry tasks and cycle counts in a manufacturing environment.

• Performing other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in data entry

• Skills in cycle count and performing cycle count tasks

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably within a manufacturing company

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and Oracle Fusion HCM

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Willingness to learn new systems and processes

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Must be punctual and maintain good attendance

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
